What Water Softener Size Calculator collects (almost nothing), what stays in your browser, how calculators remember your inputs, and third-party services used.

The short version

The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — hardness, household size, iron levels — are not transmitted to us, not stored on any server, and disappear when you close the page. We have no accounts, no logins and no newsletter.

What we collect

Nothing you type into a calculator. Sizing runs client-side; the result you see is computed in your browser. The share/embed links you may create carry your inputs in the URL itself — that's the whole mechanism: if you don't share the link, nobody sees the numbers.

Standard, aggregated analytics (if enabled): page views, approximate region, device type — the routine measurements any static website records in its access logs. Nothing ties these to your calculator inputs.

What stays in your browser

Calculator inputs you've typed (until the page closes)
The URL of any shared calculation (only if you created it)
Your light/dark theme preference (localStorage)

Third-party services

Analytics (if enabled): aggregate visit measurement, no personal profiles.
Advertising (if enabled on content pages): third-party ad networks may set their own cookies subject to their own policies; calculator pages stay ad-light by design.
Affiliate links (where present): clicking through to a retailer sets that retailer's cookies; we may earn a commission on purchases. It never changes a spec, a rating or a formula on this site.
